We support automotive manufacturers through digital solutions designed to simplify and automate the entire process of generating and transmitting Certificates of Conformity (COC) in XML format. These systems ensure full compliance with the specifications required by the NPI – New Vehicle Registration Process (Ministry circular prot. 29319-DIV3-C 29/11/2013) and the Simplified New Vehicle Registration Process (Ministry circular prot. 37183 of 14/12/2023), which governs how vehicle technical data must be transmitted to the Ministry of Transport web services to enable registration on national territory. Our solutions are also compatible with the eReg-IVI File format defined by the Association of European Vehicle and Driver Registration Authorities (EReg), ensuring alignment with European standards for structured exchange of vehicle-related information. The entire digital NPI workflow – from COC creation to validation and submission – is integrated according to the technical and regulatory requirements set by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, offering manufacturers a reliable, secure system kept up to date with current regulations. Developed by the Association of European Vehicle and Driver Registration Authorities (EReg), this data model enables automotive manufacturers and competent authorities to manage all information required for vehicle registration, licensing and control processes in a structured, secure and interoperable way. Adoption of the eReg-IVI File format promotes standardisation of document flows across Member States, ensuring consistency and integrity of transmitted technical data. Through an eCOC XML structure defined on common European specifications, manufacturers can more efficiently submit data on technical characteristics, type approvals, emissions and vehicle configurations, reducing errors and misalignment between national systems. Autodigit implements this standard ensuring maximum compatibility with EReg guidelines, facilitating integration with ministerial systems and the European vehicle register EUCARIS. This centralised approach enables continuous evolution of the standard, keeping technical specifications updated to meet transparency, traceability and data security requirements. By using the eCoC eReg-IVI File format, automotive producers can improve internal process efficiency, speed up information transmission and ensure high quality of data shared with registration authorities. Our system natively supports Certificate of Conformity issuance processes for COMPLETE, INCOMPLETE and COMPLETED vehicles, offering automotive supply chain operators a scalable platform compliant with European standards. Solutions are designed to meet the needs of manufacturers building registration-ready vehicles and those operating as body builders, integrating advanced configurations structured for automotive outfitting management. The system supports major transformation types including Passenger cars, Buses, Commercial vehicles, Special-purpose vehicles, Environmental vehicles. Through specific management of technical data and multistage configurations, our system enables manufacturers and body builders to meet the standards required for final-phase COC issuance, ensuring consistency between transformations performed and applicable regulatory requirements. The AUTODIGIT platform integrates management of the CAF Anti-Counterfeiting Code within digital processes dedicated to automotive manufacturers and importers. The CAF code, issued by the Vehicle Registration Centre (CED), is essential for unique identification of imported vehicles and for combating VAT fraud in registration procedures. AUTODIGIT enables centralised management of all information linked to the Anti-Counterfeiting Code, simplifying the work of Italian branches of foreign manufacturers. The platform supports entry, consultation and verification of CAF-associated data, ensuring faster processes and greater accuracy in preparing documentation required for vehicle registration. Thanks to the platform's modular structure, AUTODIGIT allows operators to easily integrate CAF into the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) management flow, where the code is typically present. This enables immediate verification of document authenticity and fiscal regularity of vehicles imported from abroad. Using the CAF Anti-Counterfeiting Code within AUTODIGIT offers importers a secure, reliable environment compliant with Italian regulations, helping make every stage of the import process more transparent and traceable. National Access Points (NAPs) are a fundamental component of the European infrastructure dedicated to mobility data exchange, as provided for by Directive 2010/40/EU on intelligent transport systems (ITS). Our platform is designed to support future interoperability with major European NAPs, adopting scalable architectures and protocols aligned with European Union guidelines. Through stable, redundant technology infrastructure prepared for secure data flows, our application already ensures high service continuity and the ability to integrate new data exchange systems as they are activated in future releases. This approach helps manufacturers prepare for an increasingly harmonised digital ecosystem, simplifying registration processes and management of vehicle technical information over time. Although direct integration with the EUCARIS (European Car and Driving Licence Information System) network is not yet available, the modular design of our solutions allows rapid extension of functionality towards European interoperability services, providing a solid foundation for future developments and compliance with community requirements. Our roadmap envisages evolving the product towards an ecosystem capable of interacting with different NAPs and, prospectively, with data exchange networks between Member States, offering automotive manufacturers a clear path towards digitisation of document flows and more efficient management of vehicle information.
